Strategies to Incorporate Soft Skills Training into Medical Physics Residency Curriculum

Description

CAMPEP standards require residency programs to train residents on soft skills, such as professionalism, ethics, etc. Recently a nationwide survey of CAMPEP residencies was performed to investigate how programs are incorporating this type of training into their programs. The purpose of this session is to first present the results of this survey and highlight areas of improvement. This will be followed by two program directors sharing their experiences implementing a tailored curriculum of soft skills training from a therapeutic and diagnostic residency perspective.
