AAPM's Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship Programs: A Ten-Year Update and Stories from Past Fellows

Description

The American Association of Physicists in Medicine has sponsored two summer undergraduate research programs since 2001: the Summer Undergraduate Fellowship Program (SUFP) and the Diversity Recruitment through Education and Mentoring Program (DREAM) programs. The purpose of this session is to (1) share updates on fellowship participation over the past ten years along with data from a survey of all past fellowship participants and (2) hear from past fellowship participants on the impact of the fellowship on their trajectory in medical physics.
