Emerging Technologies in Cone Beam CT
Description
Cone beam has been a mainstay modality across a wide range of clinical applications. Ongoing innovations in both hardware and software continue to expand its capabilities to address the evolving needs for improved image quality, dose efficiency, and workflow integration. This symposium will highlight emerging technologies shaping the next generation of CBCT systems, focusing on three key areas: inverse-geometry CBCT, spectral CBCT, and deep learning–based reconstruction. Together, these developments represent significant steps toward achieving higher fidelity imaging, enhanced tissue characterization, and enhanced imaging performance across diverse clinical environments.
