Joint ASTRO-AAPM Session on Clinical Trials Changing Clinical Practice: Re-Irradiation and Oligometastatic Breast Cancer Therapy

Description

The recent clinical trials to evaluate novel dose and fractionations, including for non-malignant conditions, may change the clinical role and scope of RT practice. Clinical trials are ongoing to evaluate the use of RT to treat non-malignant conditions such as osteoarthritis and inflammation. Other trials are looking at the clinical efficacy of hyporfractionation. This session will explore the latest clinical trials impacting the clinical practice of RT.
